​CLASSICAL & CONTEMPORARY ART COURSES


You can study specific areas of interest in art with us all year round. Our courses & workshops vary in length from 4 days to 2 day weekend worshops. The Workshops below in portraiture, landscape and abstraction can all be done as a weekend workshop on a Saturday and Sunday (on dates listed ) OR in the weekly classes on  Wednesday and Saturdays, time 10-4 pm- all year round. You can also explore these key areas in art in much more detail in the foundation and Intensive art courses. You choose your area of interest and we will guide you through the process of developing your skills in Painting and or drawing in a classical or contemporary style. The courses are designed to accommodate all levels from beginners to advanced and are incremental in nature. We advise doing a number of courses over time to get a good basis in the area you are studying. We understand many of you need to balance your work life with developing your skills in Art at a pace that suits your timetable and budget all year round. Therefore you can do repeated  workshops with the studio and we know exactly where you left of with us and you can continue your development from that point.

​​CONTINUING TO STUDY IN EAST COAST ART STUDIOS
When you complete this initial workshop  we would advise clients to do another course and hone in on the areas that started to interest you. Clients can also book the EVENING CLASSES  or  the DAYTIME CLASSES on  Wednesdays & Saturdays. In these sessions, you can develop your practice throughout the year and focus on whatever subjects and techniques are of interest to you, either in contemporary or classical painting and drawing. We also recommend you do the drawing course as drawing underpins all painting.

CONDITIONS: Once confirmed, all sessions are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable. If classes have to be cancelled by East Coast Art Studios for any reason, students will be offered a refund for the missed class, or an opportunity to retake the session at another date. All paint and drawing materials are provided for both drawing and painting courses except canvas. Students taking the intensive programme or ongoing classes must bring their own set of brushes these can be provided by the studio please ask for info. Students wishing to paint on a larger scale may bring a canvas with them to the studio.  All class times include 5 minutes of clean-up. . Photos/videos taken by East Coast Art Studios during sessions, including of students or students work may be used for promotional purposes unless students specifically request otherwise.
