For art college applicants, we can offer portfolio preparation and development. During the first private session we will look at the current portfolio, assess strengths and areas for improvement, and develop a plan for future work and skills development to complete or enhance the portfolio. We will analyse what the college you are applying for is looking for and help you come up with a clear plan and timeline to create the works required to apply to the course of your choice. Following this consultation you will then begin to implement the course strategy agreed.

In addition to private consultation, we advise you to take one of the intensive courses for 1-3 months to complete a portfolio and we also advise doing one drawing course and a number of the life drawing sessions.* Our courses work on a modular basis and reinforce one another. Understanding and applying the different styles you learn in these modules will ensure the development of each student’s techniques and individual artistic style.

Students interested in ongoing study with East Coast Art Studio can read more about our various syllabi here. Clients who are interested in developing their personal practice after completing the portfolio can continue to study in the studio and develop their own personal style and work with Eoin's guidance.

CONDITIONS: Once confirmed, all sessions are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable. If classes have to be cancelled by East Coast Art Studios for any reason, students will be offered a refund for the missed class, or an opportunity to retake the session at another date. All paint and drawing materials are provided for both drawing and painting courses except canvas. Students taking the intensive programme or ongoing classes must bring their own set of brushes these can be provided by the studio please ask for info. Students wishing to paint on a larger scale may bring a canvas with them to the studio.  All class times include 5 minutes of clean-up. . Photos/videos taken by East Coast Art Studios during sessions, including of students or students work may be used for promotional purposes unless students specifically request otherwise.
