East Coast Art Studios is open to our students and the public for life drawing every Sunday afternoon 2-5  - 20€ per session. 
Life drawing is soo important to your hand eye co-ordination. No matter what your interest is whether you paint abstract or realistic drawing the figure and dealing with the moment is a thrilling experience and can transform your practice. It isnt about the perfect drawing it is about experiencing the presence of the model and you alive at that moment making a mark.
You can use your 5/ 10 sessions on any Sunday afternoon 2-5pm .It is valid for 4 months from the date of your first booking online. Simply purchase your package and book your first session here online and then turn up on that day. We will keep a record of the sessions you attend in the studio. For your remaining sessions  just walk in any Sunday at 2pm and we will take your name at the door and record your sessions in the life drawing book. In this studio practice their is no teacher you just draw in a relaxed professional studio environment  with fellow creatives.

Quietness is observed by all artists and the upmost respect is always payed to the model. Without whose hard work we wouldnt have art history and all the beautiful figurative works in the world!!! Thank you models everywhere!!  The best way for students to benefit from these model sessions is to implement the techniques they are learning in the studio's drawing classes.
 Practice quick gesture drawing on A2 scale. Practice total build up of one area of the body during  10-20 minute poses or draw same area 5 times to build up eye hand coordination. This develops a sub conscious instinctual line.
Practice quick head studies and try 1 x 30 minute portrait at the end of the session.

Materials not provided. Please bring all your own materials, including paper and drawing materials or buy drawing pack at studio.

CONDITIONS: Once confirmed, all sessions are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable. If classes have to be cancelled by East Coast Art Studios for any reason, students will be offered a refund for the missed class, or an opportunity to retake the session at another date. All paint and drawing materials are provided for both drawing and painting courses except canvas. Students taking the intensive programme or ongoing classes must bring their own set of brushes these can be provided by the studio please ask for info. Students wishing to paint on a larger scale may bring a canvas with them to the studio.  All class times include 5 minutes of clean-up. . Photos/videos taken by East Coast Art Studios during sessions, including of students or students work may be used for promotional purposes unless students specifically request otherwise.
